Carpal interface, touchscreen-through
The Gloves exist because of a constraint, not a capability. Bill's requirement was that they still work on a phone screen, and any glove that fails that test does not get worn, whatever else it does.
The answer is silver-infused micro-filament at the fingertips, woven in rather than glued on as a pad, so the fingertip presents roughly the capacitance a screen expects. Everything else follows from the hand: coils across the carpal tunnel, sensor contacts in the palm where the sweat glands are densest, and a Peltier over the radial artery at the wrist, because cooling blood at a pulse point is felt faster than cooling skin anywhere else.
They are described here as a comfort and readiness product. They are not a treatment for repetitive strain injury, carpal tunnel syndrome or any other condition, and nothing on this site should be read that way.
The conductive fingertip weave and the wrist Drive are drawn. The constraint that shaped this SKU was Bill's: they have to work on a phone screen, or nobody wears them.
