ORRA is being developed inside the Biz Dev App group. It did not start as a business plan. It started as a question about a charging pad, and it has been engineered forward from there in the open.
Most hardware concepts die between the idea and the technical data package, because the middle of that gap is unglamorous: part numbers, thermal paths, tolerance stacks, and deciding which of your good ideas is not physically possible. The Node's origin story is a good example. The original brief was a pendant that shields you from ambient radio. That is not buildable, and saying so early is what produced a product that is.
What ORRA has that a first-time hardware programme usually does not is the naming already locked. Five registered marks across eight classes cover the metals and coatings, the cases, the apparel and smart textiles, the wellness platform, the certification and testing language, and the formulations. That coverage was in place before the first ORRA device was drawn.

Trademarks protect names, not inventions. They stop a competitor calling their smart-weave a NANODOSE weave. They do not stop them building one. The patent work that would is drafted and unfiled, and the claims page says so.
